Root touch-ups every four to six months. Higher damage risk. Temporary smoothing (keratin, nanoplasty, Brazilian Blowout): modifies hydrogen bonds which are weaker and reform over time. Natural texture gradually returns over two to six months. No harsh regrowth line. More flexible — you can switch treatments or skip a cycle. Generally gentler on hair.
